ODOM - MARATHON -- APRIL 18 --- SATURDAY at PINTO LAKE

April 18, 2015 from 10:30am to 4pm
The Annual Marathon is set...Pinto Lake – Watsonville Ca.– April 18-  Saturday.The format will be the same as always,Skippers meeting at 10AM.Three seeding / tuning races in the AM.10:30AM - Start first of 3 tune-up race's.   LUNCH  1:00PM - Marathon begins.  2:30PM - Course reverses.  4:00PM - Race endsMost laps completed in the 3 hours is the winner.Trophies to be awarded. ..More details to follow..See More

"try "sail shape" on the search in this forum. it has all kinds of numbers for various settings that should answer a lot of your questions. 19 or 19 1\2 inches are the most commonly used. i use the latter. hope this helps.  ron"

"i use 80# test nylon coated steel wire, although this probably an overkill. spectra works fine. some of it resists chafe better than others. the yellow or white is best. i use the black and white stuff and had no trouble. it looks like its chafed…"

This is a place where ODOM owners can share all things ODOM from coast to coast. Keep up with all the latest news from all the ODOM fleets across the nation. 


If you're an ODOM owner sign up, create profile under “MY PAGE” and/or create a “GROUPS” page for your club. If your Building your boat look at the Builders Page under “GROUPS” and you'll find helpful tips. Want to know where ODOM events are across the country look under "EVENTS"
. Also checkout “LINKS” which is a directory for everything you need. And use the “FORUM” to open a discussion on issues you need to solve and tell everybody what you think.


The ODOM is a one design radio controlled yacht one meter in length; 7 lbs 6 oz minimum weight;  600 square inches of sail area.
