Hitec and Futaba Servo Arms are Not Interchangable!

This is just a "heads up" ... hopefully to help you avoid a failure at the lake.  The Hitec C1 (Standard) spline and the Futaba 3F (Standard) spline look almost the same.  In addition, it is possible to install a Futaba 3F spline on a standard Hitec servo.  But even though it seems to fit, and will probably function normally under some conditions, a Futaba arm installed on a standard Hitec servo will eventually fail.I needed to replace the rudder servo on one of my ODOMs. Because I prefer to…See More

This is a place where ODOM owners can share all things ODOM from coast to coast. Keep up with all the latest news from all the ODOM fleets across the nation. 


If you're an ODOM owner sign up, create profile under “MY PAGE” and/or create a “GROUPS” page for your club. If your Building your boat look at the Builders Page under “GROUPS” and you'll find helpful tips. Want to know where ODOM events are across the country look under "EVENTS"
. Also checkout “LINKS” which is a directory for everything you need. And use the “FORUM” to open a discussion on issues you need to solve and tell everybody what you think.


The ODOM is a one design radio controlled yacht one meter in length; 7 lbs 6 oz minimum weight;  600 square inches of sail area.
